Organize Part 1

Have you ever sat at your desk and wondered to yourself......where did all this junk come from? You are not alone! Many people have very busy lives and little time to sort through what can easily build up! Whether it be on your desk, your kitchen, etc. There is hope! There are many rooms in your house that you may just want to close the door? out of sight, out of mind right? Wrong! The clutter will always be unless you take action against it! I find "lists" very helpful! Also, you can pick an area of your home and have three large boxes! one=for trash (if you have not used the item in the past 6 months)atleast, two=a box for donation, where items are still good, you just dont need them anymore, and three=the things you want to keep. This can "seem" like a giant task, yet that is not true. Alls it takes is alittle determination and willingness to "admitt" yes, I must do "something" with all this clutter! Face it! Life is very fast! our lives are very busy! so, who has the time? You do! Just a few minutes a day can make a very "huge" dent into the area you wish to work on! You can even set a "timer" say 10, 20, 30, 60 minutes, just whatever you prefer and makes you feel comfortable about it! I once sat at my desk and thought......This is a mess! I had bills mixed in with work papers, post-its, you name it! In this part 1 of getting organized, I am going to encourage you to make a time commitment! Set that timer! You will be amazed at how much can get done in a very short time! Another thing is the daily mail that seems to build up! Where does it go? If you make a habit of not "setting down" your mail right when you get in the house, yet instead, stand by the trash can in your kitchen....If you have junk mail "Toss-it" right away! Junk mail can add up Very fast! You can do it! Three large boxes and a timer! Go for it! I will post more in part 2 of "getting organized"! Happy Sorting!
